Campaign Story

*They say it takes a village to raise a child, in our case, it takes a village to create a child.*

It is a very hard thing to be the one to ask for help as I am the one who is always trying to help others but some things you just can’t do alone. We appreciate your support.

PUZZLE FUNDRAISER:

1. We have a 2000 piece puzzle.
2. We are “selling” each piece for $10. You can choose to buy 1,2, 3, or 10!
3. Once you purchase a piece, we will write your name on the back of the puzzle piece(s). (If you would like a custom name or family name on the piece, please write that in the “message” section when you donate.
4. Once every single piece has been “sold”, we will put the puzzle together. It will hang in our hopefully future nursery.

OUR STORY:
Tyler and I have been searching for our other half for many years. In July 2021 we met and instantly fell in love and were married by August 2022. We have discussed our dreams of wanting a family since we met.
I have had endometriosis since my teenage years. After about 3 months of trying to conceive after our wedding, I got some blood work done and found out I have diminished ovarian reserve (which is low low egg count and quality).
We started at the Fertility Center in January 2023. I did a test and found out my tubes were not blocked but having diminished ovarian reserve would make it very difficult for us to conceive on our own. The next month we started medicated cycles. My body didn’t seem to be responding to the medication very well so they kept adding more and more medication including injections every month as well. We have done 3 separate IUI’s and they have all failed. Our fertility doctor tells us the next step would be IVF.
The financial burden of infertility has taken an extra toll on us. We have exhausted all funds to all the treatments, medications and procedures for the last year and half and need help to make our dream of wanting a family come true. We just can’t do it on our own. We have got quotes from different facilities and it is astronomical how expensive it is and with having diminished ovarian reserve I will probably have to go through many egg retrievals so we are trying to prepare for that.
We are planning to go out of the state for IVF because it is less expensive than doing it here in Michigan but really need any help we can get. We need the money for medications, procedures and traveling. Even with travel expenses, it will be so much cheaper to go out of state. We all appreciate anything you can do to help.
